ISO are disk images and should just mount in the macOS. If you have Toast, there are other ways to mount them.

What driver are you installing? Are your security settings reduced in the repair partition? Did you follow the MOTU instructions for adding the drivers in the security settings?

Have you allowed your DAW to access the Microphone?

Clamshell mode applies to portables only when the lid is closed. The M2 Studio had plenty of issues without that.

Update the macOS, Eventide and DP to the latest versions and you’ll be fine.
