Re: DP 8.02 is shipping, including Windows and demo version
VE Pro is exciting news. I can;t install yet as I am mid sessions today. Does anyone know if DP has fixed the ability to hit command C, copying any plug ins settings directly from it’s open window, and then hit command V to paste plug in settings back in to the same plug in at a later time, (in the...

Re: Silence at the beginning of recorded audio b-wav
It's possibly the PunchGuard option that's located in the Preferences (Audio Options).

Re: Video card upgrade
Ok guys! Just received and installed my new Ati Radeon HD 5770, my first impressions.. What - a - difference! First of all, my Mac feels much smoother. It doesn't feel like it's struggling with things. F.e. previously when putting movies in full screen in MPlayerX it was slow and struggling. Now, in...

Little bump in case it got lost in the pile of threads ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
I can really recommend the larger velocities dots, so much easier to see and edit.
Anyway, happy DP-ing!

Re: Video card upgrade
The 1GB HD 5770 looks like the bomb choice for the price, OLB. Let me know how it works for you. Sure Jim - I started to notice strange things lately and I feared it was my screen. But thinking about it, it sometimes had these horizontal lines on some high loads, has to be the GPU. Well, my Mac is ...

Re: Video card upgrade
A few days ago I had the same idea with the exact setup as yours. After a bit of research I ended up with the getting the Ati Radeon HD 5770. From what I've seen, it's massive AND quiet. And only great reviews. I haven't received it yet but I'm looking forward to install it with my 30 inch Dell and ...

Re: DP8 - Had it a week and haven't installed it yet.
Well, late last night I installed it and guess what. It worked perfectly. Jeez, what was I so uptight about? Tweaked a couple of things and it was like I was looking at 7.2. Everything worked/played. I pushed DP to use about 6GBs of Real Mem. I'm going to load it up with everything I got tonight an...

Re: (possible) resolution of a "serious" DP/VEPro5 issue!
Alright - official reply from VSL: I am afraid I have to confirm this - our development team is already investigating in this matter and will hopefully come up with a solution for the next update of VE Pro. Thanks for reporting and please accept my apologies - both for the inconvenience and for the ...

Re: (possible) resolution of a "serious" DP/VEPro5 issue!
damn.. ok good to know that I'm not the only one with these same bouncing issues in DP8... I tried all different combinations/versions/settings etc but same results..
I also sent a report to VSL.

DP8 velocity mod +
So after installing DP8 (I just couldn't resist...) I instantly missed the DP velocity mod and some colour adjustments of the MoTools theme. The least I can do is I'd share them with you! Velocity Mod ([ original ) http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3197/3102606099_823c5827a1.jpg?v=0 I love the original...

Re: DP8 and VE Pro Event Input
Guys, really really digging DP8 however... a few bugs of course but the Event Plugin... I heard some success stories here and there but I just can't get it to work!.. What's your method? I tried everything (I think), 32/64bit VST/AU, the different combis. All result in weird random bounces.. Basical...

Re: DP8 and VE Pro Event Input
OLB, I need to do loads more checking on this, but - after installing the latest VEPro5 (11548 - that I didn't even know existed until today!!), and opening it with DP8, I *WAS* able to create a single MIDI track (using Event), and offline Bounce that MIDI track to an audio file! HUGE!!, if it real...

Re: DP8 and VE Pro Event Input
Well VSL got this great plugin called 'Event Input' to circumvent AU/VST single MIDI port limitation. For playback this seems to work fine but offline bouncing isn't working.
Edit: sorry Marc I misread your post but yeah no multiple MIDI ports..
