Re: Sending MIDI out of Audio Units plugins
I was able to do this using a VST version of Kontakt 6 inside DP 11. I setup Kontakt to send MIDI out, as described above. I sent MIDI from a Kontakt instrument to another track which had EZ Drummer 3 on it. The track setup is: MIDI controller as input -->Kontakt ch. x. Then a second track: Kontakt ...

Re: Help!: Error "Master Pointer was nil (-109)" [RESOLVED]
Thank you all for this info! It really saved me today, as I did what dix had done years ago - tried to clean out the MOTU clippings folder by getting rid of MIDI clips with bad aliases. Lordy, just about panicked when i couldn’t open DP. But, thanks to your help, I got it all cleared up. I lost all ...

Re: How to make clippings
Thank you, Terry Britton, for such a great explanation. I must admit, I'm embarrassingly late at discovering the value of clippings. But I can see now it's doing what I've always wanted to do in DP: have a modular approach to loading instruments, that is -- loading them in sets, according to what I ...

strum - in DP or as plugin
I'm looking for a way to turn existing chords in my sequence in DP (all 3 or 4 notes played at once) to strummed chords , the way a guitar would play them. I just need the individual notes nudged over a bit, for a quick strum, either up or down. I wish DP had something like the strum tool in FL stud...

Re: Garbled MIDI with drag and drop from EZK and EZD2
Not really. Dragging from EZDrummer etc also brings in (from memory) time signature information which shows up in the conductor track...is it possible this could be affecting things? It’s a PITA to have to keep cleaning these things out.. I, too, get annoyed with the time signature info being const...

Garbled MIDI with drag and drop from EZK and EZD2
Hello all, I'm wondering if any other DP users have this problem: when I drag and drop MIDI files from the arrangement window in either EZKeys or EZDrummer2 into the tracks window in DP, the MIDI gets garbled. At the beginning of the MIDI file, notes are missing or are very elongated, the whole patt...

"The application Digital Performer 9 can't be opened" messag
Yikes, I'm suddenly unable to open DP 9.52. It doesn't open at all. When I try to open it, I get a window that says, "The application Digital Performer 9 can't be opened." I've tried re-installing DP 9.52. That worked once before when I had this same problem. Now it doesn't work at all. I ...

Yes, my Reaktor ensembles are AU. Work without a problem. All my plugins are in AU format.

Re: How do you output a MIDI track to Stutter Edit?
This issue has now been solved for me.. at least for now. It looks like it is similar to previous posters' problem, in that the correct format needed to be loaded. But it is different in that, rather than narrowing down to one version/format, I actually activated a second format, and that's the one ...

Re: How do you output a MIDI track to Stutter Edit?
I realize this thread is super old, but I'm currently having this same problem. I'm trying to route MIDI to Stutter Edit as an insert on any kind of audio track (audio, aux, master or even instrument). Stutter Edit will NOT show up as a destination for the MIDI. The Stutter Edit plugin itself will s...

Installing DP 10 demo on machine with DP 9.52
I would like to install DP 10 as a demo first before actually upgrading from 9.52. So I just want to make sure I take the right steps to keep DP 9 while installing DP 10. Am I correct in thinking I should: - rename DP 9 in the Applications folder from "Digital Performer" to something like ...

Re: Audio dropouts when bouncing using PLAY 6
Is there really no one else having this problem? I put in a support request with EastWest, and they did their best to troubleshoot. But ultimately, they could not find a solution within PLAY 6. The only way to avoid audio dropouts in a bounce is to do a real-time mix down instead of an off-line boun...

Audio dropouts when bouncing using PLAY 6
Help! When I bounce to disk (importing audio to the sequence) using an instrument in PLAY, I get lots of audio dropouts. :x The only solution seems to be to change the settings of the PLAY instruments so that they play from RAM rather than streaming from disk. But this solution is completely unwield...

Re: How do I slightly detune some audio?
. Is there some way to do this other than the way Stubbsonic mentioned? That method seems to be the way to detune particular notes, which is what I want to do. I don't want to detune the whole track.mesayre wrote:You can also transpose audio and specify a value in cents.
