I want to thank you all with my crash problem for DP 11. It turns out that my problem was with my preference files. Now and then the hidden preference files get corrupted. Here is what I had to do. I think with DP11 it make no sense to not upgrade the system on BigSur. IMHO

In DP10.11 and .13 (and possibly in earlier versions as well), if one changes DP's buffer size while a track is record-enabled, timing will be off for subsequent recordings on that track. Audio recording too early
I don't understand why sometimes DP records my audio too early. This is not some note ( and therefore my mistake ). I have to make a restart and then it works

F that’s the case, then the amp is the issue—your Mac can’t see it. Does it output audio via usb? Does it require drivers so your Mac can see it? Is there a switch or setting you must engage? If your amp can output audio via USB, it must be selected as an input device in DP.

For me stretch function it's the major improvement on DP10. So easy to edit audio tracks. Love it
