Re: Extra notes added by DP
That's correct. They only "appear" when I bounce to disk. It happened 2 or 3 times during my last project (13 songs). Then it happened again last week when I rented out my studio. Fortunately, it doesn't happen all the time. No, I'm not using multiple zones on the keyboard and there is onl...

Re: Extra notes added by DP
In case I wasn't clear, these "notes" are not an issue until the end of the project: there aren't there. Then, during the bounce process - or creating sound bites - they play. (I start tracks tracks three measures into the song.) The system: 8-core Mac Pro with 8 GB RAM, two Sonnet 1 TB Ar...

Extra notes added by DP
I use DP6 with Ivory piano and Vienna Symphonic cube.
Every so often, DP creates extra notes at the beginning of a project that aren't visible and can't be deleted.
This happens when I'm exporting files for use in CD projects.
The only solution I've found is to restart the computer.
Any ideas?

Re: DP 6 and Vienna Orchestral Cube - slower than my dead cat
Thanks for all of your help!
I didn't expect this much effort on your part.
I'll load some projects tomorrow and record times.

Re: DP 6 and Vienna Orchestral Cube - slower than my dead cat
BTW, It's the Dual Quad. I forgot to mention that this happens for EVERY SONG I load, not just the first one. i can understand taking time for the key to verify files, but every song?!! I qualify for the academic version of Logic, so I purchased it. I've used DP since version 2, and I hate the thoug...

DP 6 and Vienna Orchestral Cube - slower than my dead cat
My system (8 core G5, 8 GB RAM, 2 one-TB arrays, striped) is having problems with DP6 and the VSL cube. I have to wait several minutes each time i open a project, even when there are only 2 or 3 instruments bring used from the library. When I open the system monitor either DP or Vienna (or both) is ...

XV5080 issues - DP6 not "seeing" cards
I used to have 6 cards in my XV-5080.
After I removed 3 of them I couldn't select any patches in DP6.
I decided to remove the 5080 from my MIDI setup and then added it back again.
Now the built-in sounds can be selected as patches, but none of the cards.
Any suggestions?
