Installed, and well... it worked. First time. Which is how it was supposed to work the first time!

Just did a clean install of windows xp pro sp2.
Drivers installed.
Motu connected.
Same thing as vista.
Except that the Volume Tab of the Sounds and Audio Devices Control Panel shows "No Audio Device", and all options in the dialog are disabled...

WHAT'S GOING ON!?!
Any ideas?

no actually, it's vista 32...
i'd love to blow vista away and put xp on, but dell have stopped driver support for my machine on xp. so that's not really an option...
