Yes, I have the latest firmware and drivers.
It's not just going into the red on my 828 but also the input in Logic 8.
Motu told me to reinstall the firmware but that just seems to be a standard routine answer. I haven't tried that yet.
Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. All of my electric guitars and bass guitars clip the input with the trim to zero. The input is way too hot.
I hope they can change that with a firmware update.

Ok, Just installed everything. I have to say it sounds great. I also bought good cables. No more mixer. Everything sounds really clear, as if someone took off a curtain from my speakers.
