Re: Bounce to Disk (Super Wide) Finder Window Bug ?
So, any word on whether this bug is remedied by upgrading to DP 10 if still running Mojave? I'm running DP 9.52 on Mojave (10.14.6) on a late-2013 Mac Pro and having this same issue. Attempting to grab the lower left hand corner and drag to the right has only made the issue significantly worse. Rebo...

Re: Templates location and editing
I kept having this question too and finally found them in DP itself: Preferences/General/Document/Document Templates. Click the "open" button and the list of custom templates comes up. The path indicated, at least at the bottom of my own list, is: Mac HD/Users/[user name]/Library/Preferenc...

Re: MOTU HD Express and Trash Can?
Yes, if I could get the mac to see my third screen. I'm using older monitors that require converters to connect via Thunderbolt, which may be part of my problem?
But even if I could, that feels pretty clunky when I'm working with clients.

Re: MOTU HD Express and Trash Can?
Is there any reason this Black Magic Ultrastudio Mini Monitor wouldn't do the trick? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=details&O=&Q=&ap=y&c3api=1876%2C%7Bcreative%7D%2C%7Bkeyword%7D&gclid=Cj0KCQiA1afSBRD2ARIsAEvBsNnDZBhZdyuQHA3yehsMru0HVoUScPAr5FAO5G8RVJBxtwB5u6w...

Re: MOTU HD Express and Trash Can?
Most interesting; thanks for so much info on this, Mike. I had no idea it was so messy to work this out. I currently have two monitors running on Thunderbolt adapters out of my trashcan. I borrowed a friend's old Black Magic Express box (I think that's what it was called), which DP 9 recognized, and...

MOTU HD Express and Trash Can?
So I want to start sending video out to a dedicated monitor. I'm running DP 9.5 on a late 2013 Mac Pro trashcan and OSX 10.12.6. According to the manual, MOTU's HD Express would allow me to do this. But a look at the info on the MOTU site indicates I'd connect HD Express to my computer via an includ...

Re: Wanting a solid control surface for DP 9.5
Hey Jim - test-driving the Platform M now and it was indeed pretty plug-and-play, at least so far as getting DP to see the faders and transport controls. But I've got no automation on the faders yet. The mac just added it to my audio MIDI controls upon restart, and then I went into Setup/Control Sur...

Re: Wanting a solid control surface for DP 9.5
No kidding. That sounds promising. I saw a demonstration on Youtube (with Logic or one of the other supported DAWs) where you could use dedicated buttons to expand or collapse the size of your tracks, or of your waveforms. Have you accessed that function too? Plug and play for basic functions, at th...

Changing Continuous Data Display - Where is it in DP 9
I'm trying to set it (I like lines way better than bars) in the Conductor track but can't seem to find it for any other tracks either, even when I drop down into one of the new data-only tracks below an audio track. I'm sure it's staring me in the face, but I couldn't find what I was looking for in ...

Re: Wanting a solid control surface for DP 9.5
Gravity Jim, this looks like exactly what I've been hunting for. How hard was it to set it up to work with DP?

Re: Velocity level doesn't seem to make a difference
Didn't see all these responses till now, thanks! I'll poke around and see if it's the particular VI (Spitfire Chamber Strings) as I don't seem to have this trouble with Superior Drummer and some others. Maybe it's a Kontakt issue; I'll have to eliminate some variables to see. Agreed, off-velocities ...

Re: String Library problem
Wow, someone directed me to this post after I posted elsewhere on the forum about this same issue - same problem, but with Spitfire sample libraries - and disabling the memory server seems to be doing the trick for me as well, so thanks!!

Velocity level doesn't seem to make a difference
I'm trying to shape the contour of a MIDI string line and before even getting into the expression and volume controllers I want to tweak the velocity of specific notes. But when I grab the handle of a specific note or highlight the note and adjust its numeric level at the top of the sequence window,...

Re: Hardly any samples, yet snap crackle and pop?
I see - well, I've heard of this before, but it seems I'd just end up with dozens of instances of Kontakt before was through with a typical project. Is this how you do it even when you've got a lot of instruments to handle?
