It gives me encouragement to try it.

Is it just as Apple sezs:

Record more than 4GB of audio into a single file in Core Audio Format.

Use multiple like devices as one virtual device in any Core Audio application

In TTPro v4.04 run the PERFORMANCE/MAINTENACE/DIRECOTRY MAINTENACE because it seems to me here that when a Finder acts wonkey as you described your problem there it needs to be restored.

Yes TIGER is more stable and plays nice with DP although a few of my programmes broke in TIGER.
