I also heard the Belkin might be an answer, but i can't get my hands on one to try... living in a small town. Need to order it, i suppose, however I've already forked out big bucks and this SHOULD be working!

My 896HD worked great for a while on my desktop. Then i got a Dell 1501 Inspiron and unhooked it all...
