Didn't work after all. Was a non-issue with any system/computer/kybd/mouse before so I hope MPTU is working on it.

Oops, I was wrong. On another attempt, SWP from either the kybd or computer resulted in same stuttering, distorted noise.

Thanks for identifying that. I'm gonna try to plug the kybd directly into the computer port rather than a USB hub.

Interestingly, when I save with the cursor, there's no stutter. When I save from my wired kybd, it stutters. What could that be?

I work fast and I like the ability to hit command S while the track is recording, like I've done for years. There is an audible stutter with distorted audio before it completes the save and my artists hear that every time. This was a non-issue before 9.51 and MOTU tech support is well aware of this ...

Dear MOTU,

Pleeeeeeease fix the Save While Play feature in DP9.51! I cannot get out of the habit of doing it, nor should I if I have important saves to make. My clients don't understand and they think there is something wrong with the pgm, which there is!

Someone recorded a live show using a Mackie recorder and the files the Mackie "bounces" are 24 track multi channel- one wav file contains 24 tracks. Apparently, ProTools splits this file up just fine, and Logic uses something called Shuffle Mode to separate the files.

Is there any way to do this in Performer? Logic and Protools can- the source files are proprietary Mackie files that get saved to one multi channel file and is split into individual WAV files.

Hey, can someone tell me again how to audition individual notes when using pitch?
