Back to 32 bits

I posted a techlink yesterday for my x64 driver issues. I cannot afford though to wait for that (it is still marked as "unread")! So I went back to my 32bits XP configuration, which works very nicely with the new drivers. The x64 configuration in terms of audio has much improved. I could n...

x64

Yes I'm running 64 bits Sonar. I have the same MIDI issues in other apps though. When I am running for example NI Pro53 standalone I get the same drops and note on events. Latency could be a Sonar problem because that seems to be better in the standalone NI synth.

x64 3.6.8.1133 driver issues

Running XP x64. I have 4 gigs of RAM. Audio seems to go well. MIDI is a problem. * It's very slow. From my external syntesizer into Sonar 7 is MUCH slower than in x86 (32bits XP). It has a very high latency * Input produces random note on events (like previous poster) I am now installing service pac...

New drivers

Has anyone tried the new 64 bit drivers (3.6.8)? Are the memory issues solved?

All the best

PCI relocation problem

Apperently this is the reason why it is not working on my system. I indeed have 4 Gigs of RAM and PCI relocation enabled. quote from the cakewalk forum: " MOTU firewire drivers won't work with 4GB of RAM on a 64 bit OS unless you disable PCI device relocation, which leaves you with something li...

MOTU 828 MK2 no sound with XP x64

The same problem is also discussed in Topic Ultralite no Audio - Windows XP pro x64 edition. I found the same goes for the 828 MK2. I have no problems under x86 Windows XP. Under x64 I get no sound. I found a topic on the cakewalk forums describing the same issue and stating that there is a problem ...

Problems with X64 and MOTU 828 MK2

Are there any updates on this? I have exactly the same issue. Under XP 32 bits everything works fine, under X64 I get no, or very cracky sound. I did the setup twice following the instructions and doing the steps in the right order. No success though. Right now I also went back to 32 bits XP but it'...
