Apple's Logic is including Spatial playback and Atmos in their next update. Is DP anything close to that?

I've reinstalled a number of times, especially when the screen turns black and white in the Notation section. What do you mean about the plist?

After I restart DP10 I can record once or twice more. Then it stops recording again and I have to restart again. It's not a crash. It's just unresponsive.

After recording 1 or 2 sessions, I have to quit DP10 and re-open it to be able to continue recording. Why is this?

Yes, mine just started doing that as well. I can't figure it out. I've gone through the Commands, the memories, the syncs... I can't figure out why... and I've been using DP for 10 years. Anything to do with a specific software or other app?

Well, nice thread. It is now 10.7.4 and DP 7.24 and the EW notes still be a-hangin' for me. Will there be a time that MOTU and EW speak together and sort this out? It takes hours for me to do any orchestral work - it all changed around Play 2, I think. It actually did work with Performer for a while...

Having the same problem with 828MKII on channel one of Main Outs. Is anyone going to open 'er up and have a look see? If that works, I'll try it.

How did you get the NI plugins to show up? Did you reinstall them, or did they just magically appear in their appropriate formats?

So is anyone able to use the NI plugins VIs like Intakt, Kompakt on a PPC? They work fine as standalones, but not in DP 6.02.

K3 works fine. It's all the other NI's that don't work like Intakt and Kompakt.

Sorry about that. it's Mac OS 10.5.6 Dual 2.5 Processor PowerPC G5 2.5 GB DDR SDRAM. All the Virtual Instruments from NI were running fine in DP5 on the same configuration just before I updated to DP6. Play and Kontakt 3 work fine.

Nope. The 6.02 did not fix the EWQL/Intakt/Kompakt situation on the PPC. And easily crashing.

Sounds like the NI stuff works fine on Intels. This just in from MOTU from an email this morning re: The Problem: We are working closely with Native Instruments to resolve issues pertaining to DP6 on OSX 10.5.x on Power PC machines. This will likely be resolved with an update from both NI and MOTU. ...
