Re: Motu or Garritan Orchestra?
If you have the money, horsepower, and need, go for the EWQLSO Platinum deal. Otherwise I'd stick with Garritan. I have EWQLSO Gold and Garritan. I love them both. They both have their functions. Haven't heard much from the MOTU product yet. I know a great place to get a good deal on Garritan. Conta...

Re: Serial Number for 4.5
Thanks for the help. But the help doesn't come as fast as I would like it. I guess I should be more careful where I place my stuff. MOTU is sending me another CD and Key Code because each CD has it's own Key Code. I guess they didn't have record of what my Key Code was. Oh well. It is awfully nice o...

Serial Number for 4.5
Was there an updated Serial Number to DP 4.5? I'm thinking there was.
I just received my new PowerBook and have looked for my manuals like crazy.
If I can't find the manuals, can I get my SN from MOTU?
Thanks!
D. Sorah

Re: Miking A Flute for Live Performance
This is a performance with accompaniment track I created for the talent portion of a beauty pageant. I'm not the one doing the live sound. I just wanted to know your opinion so that I can pass it along to the performer to request. So. . . probably nothing really 'fancy.' Just something fairly simple...

Re: Miking A Flute for Live Performance
Thanks!
Where should the mic be placed on the flute. Over the mouthpiece or around the keys somewhere?

Miking A Flute for Live Performance
Here's the deal. Live flute solo. What mics do you recommend and what placement. I want something that's gonna give the performer some freedom and won't look too "busy" on stage?
What do you think?
Thanks for your help!
