Good to know...
That is truly amazing.I'll bet your speakers loved that test! I tried the aux bux trim to no audible effect. Now I'm checking out individual plugins to see if one of them is getting warm and fuzzy on me....

Aux bus
Yeah, I thought about the aux bus route, but I figured it would already be slamming when it got to the aux bus. I was not aware of the internal headroom thing...Although I can definitely her!e some fuzziness around the edges. I must be at 401db! Thanks for the info

Bus Level too hot!
I have a problem I've never had before...I'm down to mixing a song that sounds the way I want. I have a master fader with compression/limiting being fed by bus 5-6. None of my tracks are even close to red-lining but bus 5-6 is way in the red. Audibly so. Anybody know if there is a way to pull down t...

Interesting...
I poked around the forum and found someone had a similar problem solved by going to Setup and making sure the Time Formats is set to measures, not real time. Maybe this would help you... Unfortunately for me no luck! I'm in the habit of "Saving As" while I work on a tune, so I have a versi...

Tempo/click out of Whack!
Hey, everybody! I have a weird one here...I had started a project at 16 bit a long time ago on an old G3. Now that I have a G5 I like to work at 24 bit, so I started work on the project again.... converted the project and all the bites to 24 bit. I flew in some 24 bit drum tracks and everything seem...

thanks for the tips
The reason the tracks got converted is that the studio owner is not fond of anyone changing his settings. Hence my drummer, who is only a part time engineer at the place and was lucky to be able to get some free time in there was loath to upset said owner. The guy is really touchy about his stuff. H...

Tried it
Actually, My drummer had reconverted everything back to 44.1 before he gave it back to me. So the tracks started out at 44.1 went to 48k and then got reconverted to 44.1 for re import. I'm wondering if the problem came on that original conversion to 48k. I also found out that the project went to RAD...

Trax won't line up.....
Help! I gave my drummer AIFFS with reference trax on one side and a click on the other. He took them to his studio, dumped them into pro tools, cut his trax, then burned everything to separate SD II files. When he gave me the trax back, I flew them into my project, but they get out of sync by the en...
