The velocity tool works but acts jerky or much different than past versions. Initially I thought I was doing something different but realized it wasn't me. It was acting as if the snap to grid was enabled but wasn't and shouldn't even apply when performing a velocity edit on MIDI data.

Select the stereo track and bounce to disc - select broadcast wave, deinterleaved. That will make two mono tracks left and right. Import the mono file and move on.

I haven't tried this so it may or may not work. Couldn't you just select the "pitch" option on the audio bass drum track - copy and paste to a MIDI track. assign a VI with your favorite drum sample. ??

I might recommend tracking everything before you start adding all the processor heavy plugins. I would print my MIDI tracks to audio - remove all the VI's and then add the processors when your ready to mix - I would use the tape saturation (p&m) Analoger as the first insert on buss channels only...

I set up Bundles for printing my VI's in a single pass. If your looking to create stems to mix in another DAW then you could freeze your tracks all at once - fetch them from the audio folder in the session folder.

I assume you'll be waiting a while - I'm still waiting for the 64 bit update for MX4. Still waiting.......
