"Link Selection to Memory" not working in DP6?
I have yet to read anything about this... but currently the "Link Selection to Memory" function does nothing right now. When I enable this and "Link Memory to Playback" the two blue arrows simply appear at opposite ends of the sequence, regardless if there has been any selection ...

Pro Verb crashes...
Something's completely wrong with my install. I tried opening a project created with 5.13 (I made a backup), and applied ProVerb to some vocals. When I opened up the plugin, I saw the nice GUI, but the preset list was empty and nothing was loaded as the default convolution sample. The moment I hit p...

I'm a little worried. I use Kontakt 3 pretty exclusively these days, so it sounds like using DP6 is kind of out of the question. Or is it? You didn't mention any current gen NI plugs, did you... maybe there's hope for Kontakt3. Kontakt2 I can understand though. Secondly, I'm still excited about the ...

Check out the Kontakt 3 Crossgrade for EWQL products @ http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Kontakt3cg/ or any other retailer. Being an owner of EWQLSO Gold original, the Play upgrade was priced at $199 - $150 more than the original $49 pricing. If you are in this same upgrade catagory, for a few...

You qualify for a free upgrade if you purchased your actual NI Gold between January 18 and October 31, 2007 and if you did not, then you are lucky to get the free upgrade for FREE  Actually I did. I forgot about that. I had Silver for quite a few years, but upgraded to Gold XP Bundle last summ...

EWQLSO PLAY upgrade $0???
I just did a pre-order of the PLAY upgrade to EWQLSO Gold XP Pro yesterday, and they didn't charge me anything for it. Of course, I had to buy an iLock key ($40) and pay S&H which was $20, but until July 15th, they had the NI -> PLAY upgrade placed at $0, so the total, all together was around $6...

I've never had any problems. I had some registration issues so I had to remove ProTools... but that's only because I had an older version of PT and didn't want to pay to upgrade. The latest version of PT LE comes with the best drivers (which you can download, but you must have the latest version of ...

Since it's a motu forum, what about an 8pre or an ultralite, which ship with Audiodesk? But to use Audiodesk, those would require a mac of some sort. Bingo... I may be a mac user/fan, but I'm not that much of an asshole to expect every Joe to run out and lay down $1000 on a new computer due to my p...

Thanks Frodo. Unfortunately, of the three you recommend, the Saffire only has 2 pre's, and the other two are $800 and $1300... which is over twice the price of my MOTU 8pre! At this point, I'm leaning toward recommending that she get the Presonus Firestudio Project, simply because it's gotten pretty...
