Re: Save As and Save Copy As
Yes. You haven't done anything in the copy. Those folders are created as needed when there's something to go inside. If you want to duplicate the Project Folder, then do that and give the copy a new name. You should change the name of the DP project inside the new folder when done. By the way Mike,...

Save As and Save Copy As
When I do a "Save As" or "Save a Copy As" only the .dpdoc file, audio files, and plug-in data are copied to the new file folder. The folders for Analysis Files, Autosaves, Bounces, and Undo are missing. I do have "Duplicate audio data and copy shared samples to project"...

Re: Looping MIDI tracks
Thank you for replying to my post. Your replies were very helpful. This is how I'm doing it now: 1) Starting with a MIDI bass track of the full song, I select the measures that I want to repeat. 2) Pack those measures into a clip 3) Repeat the clip any number of times. Place copies using 'Splice' 4)...

Thank you HCMarkus. I will try that too.

Re: Looping MIDI tracks
Thank you very much Phil. I will try that. 1. Select your 4 measures of MIDI in the Sequence Editor. ( I don't know if this works in other windows) 2. Region>Pack into Clips 3. With the Pointer Tool, hover over the right hand edge (above the centerline) of the clip. The pointer should turn into a cu...

Looping MIDI tracks
I'd like to loop a four measure MIDI bass track while I record drums, but I don't want the drum tracks to loop. Does anyone know how I can achieve this? I used to use the track looping function to loop the MIDI bass track, but that is no longer an option. I tried using clips, but I couldn't get the ...

Re: iLok for Motu Instruments Soundbank
Then when I opened iLok License Manager the MOTU Soundbank was not there Did you open up and sign into the iLok License Manager? This must be done or you won't see new licenses. If the iLM asks to update, do that first—it will relaunch automatically when done. From there, you'll drag the new licens...

Re: iLok for Motu Instruments Soundbank
Did you log into your account at motu.com? You need to do this, then go to Home Account My Registrations Digital Performer 10 MOTU Instruments You will see your Sound Banks KeyCode along with fields to enter your iLok user ID and email address. Filling these out is what sends the license to your iL...

iLok for Motu Instruments Soundbank
First the good news. I was able to download and install the Motu Instruments Soundbank and the UVI Workstation. I thought I had completed the iLok license process correctly, but when I launch the iLok License Manager, I don't see the Motu Instruments Soundbank listed and cannot activate it. Any help...

Re: Event Chasing
DP 10.11 is out. Worth a try. Yes, I will give it a try. Thanks. Upgrading to 10.11 did not fix the problem of Korg VIs not chasing volume setting in the mixer. One thing I did notice is that if I put the MIDI channel that's being played by the Korg VI in record mode, then the volume chasing works....

Re: Event Chasing
I was able to get the Korg M1 VI to chase the volume set on the mixer by doing these two things: 1) I created a 2nd MIDI track on the M1 VI and put it in record mode. 2) I set the MIDI Patch Thru to either Direct Echo or Auto Channelize. This is not a viable solution on an ongoing basis, but it does...

Re: Event Chasing
Is there a way to insert some kind of MIDI monitoring between the MIDI track output and the VI input, so you can see what DP is transmitting (and possibly what the VI is ignoring)? I don't know if there's an AU or VST that would both display MIDI data and then pass it thru. Or perhaps it could get ...
