Re: Where Can I Find DP 5.13?
I repaired permissions as it happens. Still get the same error. If that was the only problem I ever had with Performer 5 (and 6) I would still be using either one of those programmes. As it is I've put 5 and 6 (and the manuals) onto eBay. MOTU will allow me to transfer the licences which I am gratef...

Re: Where Can I Find DP 5.13?
I entered the correct code. I put in the DP5 CD in the correct orifice. Even with a clean install (erased hard drive- fresh system ) it doesn't work. The blame is mine however. It's my fault for purchasing the software and it's mine for all the bugs in 6.01. Who else is to blame? Surely not MOTU? Th...

Re: Where Can I Find DP 5.13?
Where do you think I had the Performer CD? Up an orifice? The system may have worked for 6,001,275,003 other people but it doesn't work for me. DP6 will authorise on my MacPro running OSX 10.5.5 but DP5 will not. OK. If you have anything constructive to say I'd be pleased to hear it and follow your ...

Re: Where Can I Find DP 5.13?
On the issue of serial numbers and key codes with Performer 5.13 I have this observation. After installation and opening DP5.13 for the first time I am asked for my name and key code. The key code is found on the inside back cover of the DP5 manual. No matter how many times I enter the key code and ...

Re: Where Can I Find DP 5.13?
I have 5.13 and 6.01. Neither of them work (5.13 won't authorise even though I put in the original CD and type in my serial number and 6.01 falls over a lot) on my MacPro (10.5.5 10 gigs of RAM) so I'm more than willing to get shot of them if MOTU say that's OK. Just suggest a reasonable price and d...

Re: Sonnox Plug-ins crashing 6.0.1
Very strange. I don't have any problems with 6.0 and plug-ins. What is even more strange is that the TransMod plug-in which was the biggest offender now seems seems to be running OK. At least I think it's running OK. I still get the occasional crash when I load a DP file in (i.e. once an hour or so)...

Re: Sonnox Plug-ins crashing 6.0.1
I've just done a 're-examine' on the plug-ins. I get no error messages and the Sonnox plug-ins are all working. Very puzzling. That is not to say that 6.0.1 is 100%. It is not. I still keeps crashing- often when plug-ins are loaded. The last time it crashed was after another 're-examine'. I haven't ...

Re: Sonnox Plug-ins crashing 6.0.1
Hmmm. As I use the Sonnox plug-ins all the time I haven't got around to testing NI, iZotope, Sonalksis and all the rest. I have seen quite a few plug-in related posts on the forum so it looks as if a programmer at MOTU has accidently written a duff line of code. Normally if I have an issue like this...

Sonnox Plug-ins crashing 6.0.1
The following Sonnox plug-ins will only work in 'real time' mode (otherwise they cause DP to crash on start-up). Oxford Reverb Oxford Limiter The following Sonnox plug-in crashes DP 6.0.1 on start-up if it has been called:- Oxford TransMod (I find it better to leave this out of the Components folder...

Re: DP 6.01 released!
I'm having problems with 6.0.1 which do not occur in 6.0 3 of my Sonnox plug-ins were crashing 6.0.1 on start. I switched all Sonnox plug-ins to 'render in real time' and made this the default. Now just the TransMod causes a crash at start up. If the plug-ins are not used they don't cause a problem....

Re: MOTU, Please give us some DP6 GUI options
Hi Bill, I appreciate the warning but I have to state that I have no time at all for lawyers so I really don't mind if I get any private correspondence from them or anyone else. I also don't have the time to read any EULA. Has anyone here ever read one of those tedious tomes let alone understood it?...

Re: MOTU, Please give us some DP6 GUI options
I've downloaded and installed Amplidood's mods and they're just fine. There's no need to upload mine.
I have one question for Amplidood. How do I make the mixer slightly lighter? Is that a graphic/ Photoshop thing or is there an entry in Default_Style.xml that I have to change?

Re: MOTU, Please give us some DP6 GUI options
I can't imagine that modifying the brightness of the screen would bring a squad of lawyers to your door. You are not modifying and re-selling for gain functioning code rather a settings or preferences file- and as the contents of that are personal I see no problems. If anyone wishes to see my humble...

Re: MOTU, Please give us some DP6 GUI options
I have made some mods to the Default_Style.xml and things are getting darker- but I'm still not happy. Several windows are still too bright and most of my settings are 160 or lower. I would appreciate it if anyone has a nice, easy-on-the-eye, version of that file and could post a link. Of course I h...
