I'm talking about the hardware setup in DP7 not recognizing the ADA. But i'm guessing once i get the other optical link going it will show that its linked on the LED display on the 8pre?

Alright, didn't know i had to have another optical going from the Motu Out to the ADA In. I will do this...i guess this is also why when i went to audio setup it didn't show anything?

Hey, I'm trying to use my motu 8 pre as a master and running a ADA8000 optical link out into the 8pre optical link in. I have the ADA8000 set as "slave adat in" on the back of it. The motu 8pre is not recognizing the ADA even on the led display...which i'm guessing should light optical in ...

Its probably something simple i can do for this...but... When i try copying a vocal track onto another track to double it up...even though it looks like the wav is at the same place, there is a slight delay.
