nativeops, I chucked out the extra money for the Ensemble... glad I did... amazing interface, great quality... stable... etc. I'd be careful of the Konnekt 48... I looked into this before I finally grabbed the Ensemble... and although the interface looks exceptional with the volume control and all.....

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you all are trying to accomplish... But why not just set the "Return" assignment (under the Main Outs assignment) in the MOTU Console to the "Main Outs" (or whatever your Monitors are hooked up to) and then set an Audio track or Aux track in Logic ...

I believe you can just set the "Return" assignment in the MOTU Console to the "Main Outs" and then set an Audio track or Aux track in Logic up with the input set to "Return 1/2"

I returned my mk3 for a number of other reasons, for the Ensemble... a good decision.

MOTU sent me some Beta drivers that lessoned the issue quite significantly... but it was still there... but the mk3 was then usable. Read over my post above for all...

Returned the mk3 for an Apogee Ensemble... love it... works great, sounds amazing.

lundbergj, Thanks for the input... I've tried all of these steps numerous times. I too came from an 828 mk2 and it was rock solid. MOTU has given me some beta drivers which have helped for the most part. That is, I do get the screeching sometimes, but overall there's none... also not a perfect solut...
