IT'S FIXED!
Guy that's it, YOU FIX MY PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!! I am getting output through my motu units again, haven't checked inputs yet but I will in a minute. I've run into another problem though. Now that I'm up and running again, and this may be some sort of sync problem I'm not sure but now in SX, the LED's on...

Hey Jidis, Thanks for the input. I have the Audio Device in VST Connections assigned to the only option available, ASIO Multimedia. Everything looks as you described it and I know how to use this window (VST Conn). I just don't know how to get my Motu's to show up cause I know this is where they nee...

Dear Hard2Hear, I tried what you said, removing the ASIO folder from the Steinberg folder and placing it on the desk top. Then opened Cubase and got a message saying it couldn't load the ASIO set-up. Then I put the ASIO folder back where it was and re-loaded Cubase, it booted up fine but still playi...

Thanks for your sugfgestion Hard2Hear. I have found my ASIO Folder but don't know how to identify the ASIO driver. There are four .dll extensions in the folder that say ASIO and I'm a little nervous about deleting anything when I don't know what it is or what it does. Maybe you can help establish wh...

MOTU 2408's NOT COMMUNICATION WITH CUBASE SX
I had a crash while working and now my two Motu units 2408mk1 & 2408mk3 will not work with Cubase SX. My computer says that the Motu units are working properly but Cubase does not recognize them. I have tried un-installing then re-installing the Motu units (drivers & 424PCI Card) but that ha...

CUBASE SX CRASH & NOW CAN'T SEE MOTU 2408's
I'm using two MOTU 2408's, an mk3 & mk1 with Cubase SX on a PC (fast comp, 3 gigs ram). I was working recently trying to do too much too fast and had a crash. Now Cubase won't recognize the MOTU units but my computer states that the MOTU units are working properly. I was going to re-install the ...
