Re: Windows 7 WASAPI vs WDM

Hi Has anyone been able to use WASAPI drivers at 24bit + 48K? I keep getting message in SOnar 8.5.1 saying incompatible format or device in use. I'ce changed Sonar + Windows device settings to be 24 + 48 and nothing else is using the Ultralite. No big deal, ASIO is ok, but pops a bit under a load. J...

Re: New Drivers 4.0.42114 dated 14/07.2010

Just installed these drivers for a Mk1 Ultralite on a W7 x64 bit machine. Non-TI firewire chipset. Been using the legacy firewire driver with a few very minor pops, really no big deal. Anyway for some reason thought I'd try the standard firewire driver (1394 OHCI Compliant Host COntroller) and blow ...

Re: mk2 firewire on Acer Laptop Ricoh OHCI FW

Hi I struggled with a RICOH firewire chipset on an HP laptop for a year. Had exactly the same problems as you. Tried everything - new firewire lead, every driver I could find for all components of the laptop, disabled one by one all Windows tasks I could... End result was always the same, crackles, ...

Hi Cicatrix

Do you know what has changed or what issues the new driver has addressed?

Thanks

New drivers - 64fw-3.7.39083.zip

Hi

Just a heads up. Bit loathed to install, I have a few niggles but by and large my Ultralite + W7 x64 setup is working very nice.

Anyone have any ideas as to what issues these address? As usual it's the MOTU black hole when it comes to information for drivers.

HTH

Re: I FOUND ONE SOLUTION FOR ULTRALITE DRIVERS PROBLEMS !

Hi

How do you just install just MIDI drivers from the installer package? I don't see any options that allow a selective install.

Thanks.

Re: Third Party 1394 bus controller drivers for XP and Vista

These look very interesting - many thanks for posting the link!!!! Using the DPC latency checker after installing these, I'm always in the green! Never been that before. I'm getting a few pops and clicks in Sonar though. WMP11 is •••• as always. The driver has loads of options to tweak so I guess I'...

Re: Third Party 1394 bus controller drivers for XP and Vista

Ok So here's the update: After a few emails back and forth it has been made clear that UniBrain has no desire to support professional audio with their drivers and nothing I could do could get the drivers to properly recognize the MOTU hardware - although my FW400 hard drives were blazing fast. I've...

Sorry, I just had to add this - They haven't made working drivers for plain XP yet, and you are looking forward to drivers for W7 ? Haha, I like enthusiasts !
That would be funny if it wasn't true.... :x

Link to older x64 Vista drivers anyone?

Hi I'm running a Ultralite MK1 on a 64 bit Windows 7 partition. All is well and it runs fine apart from the latency introduced by the minimun 128 buffer size. This is my first venture into 64 bit so i don't have any other drivers to try apart from the current ones. Does anyone have a link to Vista d...

Re: Windows 7 drivers?

Hi

Did you have any problems installing the drivers in W7?

Mine seem to install ok but in device manager W7 says no drivers for the device are installed.

Thanks

Well I did it (pre beer of course). Running new drivers (need to install these before attempting to flash the firmware BTW) and new firmware. On a Vista Home Premium partition on a laptop running Sonar PE 7.0.2.........no squeals, pauses in audio, white noise, Ultralite meter nonsense. latency down ...
