I have been able to get it working via parallel cable on 2 different laptops, and have been able to work with multiple MIDI controllers without any issues.

using the MIDI Express Parallel (w/ the parallel driver), my laptop will not "hibernate" anymore when I close the LCD. I get a windows error saying that the MIDI Express Driver is preventing it.

I just acquired an older MIDI Express (parallel) for use on an XP system. Still waiting to acquire a cable to connect it to the laptop, but in the meantime I would like to find documentation on this box for review. where can I find any/all documentation for it?
