According to Alesis, a bass drum trigger plugged into one of the expansion inputs will behave just as any other pad-velocity, etc. But a pedal plugged into the dedicated Bass drum input would have no velocity control-ie full on. best guitar direct:software or stand alone multi fx?
Just getting back into the digital recording thing & need some pre-purchase advice. I plan on running DP on a 2gig iMac core2 duo & tracking guitar mostly straight in. Although I'm doing this for non professional recordings, I need the sound to be stellar; any suggestions?
