You should also consider using a stereo track instead of an auxliary track so you could also "bounce" in real-time. You can do this by recording everything to this stereo track and exporting the soundbite.

Just be careful and avoid clipping the stereo bus.

I've upgraded RAM on my Mac Pro. I will have work in the weekend so i'll tell you later if it improved the stability of Digital Performer.

This happened to me a couple of times! I solved my problems by restarting Digital Performer regularly. Like in 2 and 2 hours, or even less.

Well, if it's a RAM problem i'll add more RAM this week. Hope it fixes everything!

The thing is i had thought about this, but checking the activity monitor while mixing i always had more than 500 MB avaible of RAM. So i never thought i needed more RAM for what i was doing.

Forgot to say but my plug-ins are: UAD Pultec, UAD 1176, UAD LA2A, UAD Neve 33609, UAD Precision Limiter, UAD Plate 140, UAD Nigel, UAD Realverb Pro, UAD CS-1.

I also have a mackie universal control but same thing happens when it is turned off.
