Thats a really odd thing for motu to tell you, as really a motu unit should have a more accurate clock than a behringer

for what its worth i would get a BNC cable and sync over word clock (if they both have word clock connections using the motu as sync master) word clock is a much more relaible sync than adat

i did look at magicd's profile to try and establish whether he was an authority on the subject but unfortunately he hasn't filled in any details so i had no way of telling where his facts here coming from,

As i mentioned above i have seen no word from motu of what isnt supported, and i just wanted to know if anyone had heard it from motu specifically or tried it for them selves not speculation or opinions.

Did motu give you this info? as the driver release notes don't mention what specifically is or isn't supported,
it just says all current hardware is supported.
