ADC only ITB. In the analog days we rerecorded tracks trough outboard gear and didn't even think that there could be something to compensate.

Hi there this is weird: I opend a new Project, added a VI (dfhs in this case) DP created the instrument-track with the "drummer"-plug on the A-insert, but when I doubleclick "drummer" only the small titlebar of the window pops up, but no dfhs-GUI. same with battery and GPO. I ope...

I'm no tech, but this looks like you switched to another user account by accident (or the machine did). What does the systemprofiler say about your mac? still 10.2.8?

I use dfhs and C&V both by Toontrack. I play the samples live on my TD3 for monitoring while recording the midistream. This puts some load on your CPU, cause you have to lower the buffersize, but it works. The other thing is using DP's good ole drumeditor, works great too with dfhs.

G5 2x1.8 (June04), 1.5 Gig RAM, DP 4.6, OS 10.3.9

jumped from G4 2x1.25 to G5 2x1.8 in summer 04. wasn't that giant leap but the G5 was a real bargain, so I had to buy it. Today I would go for a 2x2.5 at least.
