is it possible to slave the original 828 through a mackie onyx 1620's firewire card, thus bringing the input number up to 24?

i finally figured it out. its the weirdest thing. Sometimes, out of nowhere when i'm mixing, apple AU's lockup and all of the slider's reset themselves to zero. I've tried restarting the Motu audio system and it doesnt help. This problem is way to much of a nuisance to simply restart DP everytime it happens. Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks!

from what i've seen that when people install the new update it either makes it completely work or not work at all.... i think the new drivers are completely crap, motu needs to fix this problem IMMEDIATELY or they are going to lose a lot of custoomers.
