Re: "Tab to next Transient"

Hi. Try doing a search my friend. There is quite a lot of information about this in the Motunation archives. There is no 'Tab to Transient' command as such but there are other ways of doing the same thing. Here are a couple of links to topics I just found. http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.p...

DP7 'Extras Disc'.

Hi...

Just about to install the DP7 upgrade.

Is there anything new worth installing on the DP7 'Extras Disc' that I didn't install with DP6?

Thanks,

Tim

Re: (Cymbal) Crashes.... Arrrggghhhhhhh!!!

I'm amazed that AudioEase hasn't come up with a "Room Simulator" along the lines of their new cabinet simulator. Getting a room tone isn't the same as applying reverb -- a room tone would just coalesce disparate elements, like sampled drums from different elements, or even orchestral samp...

Re: (Cymbal) Crashes.... Arrrggghhhhhhh!!!

Their overhead mics sound especially good to my ears.. I want to find a way of recreating that kind of overhead sound outside of Ad Drums. Your not going to because it's a recording of the drum in the environment (the actual room) sampled as one entity. Yeah this is what i've been finding. Im just ...

Re: (Cymbal) Crashes.... Arrrggghhhhhhh!!!

Sorry guys i haven't explained myself very well here. Basically i like the way XLN Audio gets its drum sound in Addictive Drums. In alot of their presets, much of the drum sound is derived from the overhead and room. Their overhead mics sound especially good to my ears.. I want to find a way of recr...

Re: (Cymbal) Crashes.... Arrrggghhhhhhh!!!

Ok, thanks Chris... That was a help. Sorry James, i'll try to be less "clever" in future! :) I guess what I wanted to know was how to create a good room/OH drum sound that could function completely separately from the dry drum sound. As would happen if you recorded a drum kit with close mi...

(Cymbal) Crashes.... Arrrggghhhhhhh!!!

No, don't worry, not computer/software crashes. The Zildjian, Paiste, Sabian type you find on drumkits. I get all my drums these days from software. Addictive drums, Kontakt 4, Ocean Way, Drumcore 3 (free), Battery 3, etc, in conjunction with a plethora of samples and loops i've picked up over...

Re: I've been having a blast!!

I've found the link to the Infinite Player download but it's saying that it costs "79 creditz". Is this correct? If the download link came from a redeem code which you found in your eSoundz member area then the 79 creditz will not be charged (i.e. as long as the link is connected to the G...

Re: Wind sound effects

I used one of the sound generators in Reaktor to get a really convincing outdoor/wind kind of sound for a project i'm working on... Also got a wind chime instrument for Kontakt to add to the effect.

Are you referring to the group buy that ended earlier in January or is this some new bundle?? Thanks, Dope The group buy is finished but they're keeping the price at $99 for a while. Here's a link. http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=4118&refcode=gbrss" onclick="window.open(t...

Re: Altiverb vs ProVerb

Apparently the Timbral Research IR's are WAV files so they should work with most convolution reverbs.

It was developed using TL Space which they also made some presets for so I guess that's why its "for" TL Space. In the GS thread it says they're also developing for others though.
