Re: PSP MixPack2, now featuring MixSync2 for time-aligning

I've tried the demo and maybe I've missed something but I don't see anything in the sync plugin wich is not easily attainable with existing apple sample delay and motu trim phase button The only real difference I can see between the MixSync plugin and the AUSampleDelay/Trim combo is the ability to ...

Re: TruePianos 1.90 and new Atlantis Module Available!!

Yes I just received an email about this and downloaded..

Really like the new Atlantis module (a preview of Truepianos 2 apparently). Lovely sounding piano as already stated. Intel mac only though.

They're also doing a sale at present, 33% off.. Highly recommended if you don't already have it!

Re: WOW! Hotmail not so hot...

Ok it seems i'm not the only person experiencing problems. I just did a google search and lots of people are having much worse problems than i am. Not being able to send/receive emails for instance. I wasn't able to log in for about 5 hours today. At first i'd just get a garbled message. Then this e...

Re: WOW! Hotmail not so hot...

Thanks guys i'll research all your suggestions. I've never really got on with my Mail account for some reason. I will have to look into it more though as i'm sure it's very good. I don't have an i-phone and don't really see a compelling reason to get one at present so the mobile-me stuff might be sl...

WOW! Hotmail not so hot...

I use a hotmail account as my main email host. It was the first email account I set up when i was travelling round Australia about 10 years ago and i've never really felt a need to change. HOWEVER. A couple of months ago they made some changes to the format. "Improvements" I think they cal...

Married? But who too?

Unlikely to be Protools, the childhood sweatheart. Logic is most definitely gay.

I guess Ableton is kind of sexy.

Re: Mac Pros and Cons.

Ok the new Mac Pros are now on the Apple UK website. There's no way I'll be going for the hexacore westmere at nearly £3000. So I guess it's either a brand new quad at £1999 or something second hand (although i'm a little reluctant to do the latter). I was round my folks house the other day and noti...

Re: Mac Pros and Cons.

I think you could use ether but you made a good argument for the pro. If cost is the main issue go iMac if not good Pro, IMHO. I have mine loaded and I do not feel heat coming from it; 8 core, 16G ram, 4 drives, upgraded video card, 2 super drives and a MOTU card. I do not hear the fans just the dr...

Re: Mac Pros and Cons.

A third party monitor increases the output - how much depends on the brand (some quite a bit). In any case, heat is not a big concern for owners of the current hardware as many have stated. Thanks for that, i'll keep it in mind. A preliminary report indicates that the new hex core processors and 27...
