What About?
Do we really need to select all the tracks in the sequence window so that they can be included in the final bounce to disk format. Is there another way we can bounce to disk without having to do it real-time or selecting every track? I use to do it in Nuendo where I just typed in where the song star...

Importing and Recording Tracks with different Sample Rates
I was curious to see if I would be able to import tracks that are at different sample rates or record different tracks at different sample rates on DP 5.0. I have a project that was brought to me where the tracks were recorded at different Sample rates. All were at 24 bit. I also have a producer who...

Oops
Oh yeah my bad! I have the Quad 2.5 G5 and it only has the PCI-express slots. I like the slots, but I am a little pissed that the Expert pak is less of a deal than the Ultra PAk which carries pretty much every UAD plug-in, as all of you may know the Expert PAK only has 5 and $750 voucher which is ni...

Is it true about the 896hd and Presonus Digimax?
Hey everyone how's it going? I was wondering if it was true that the Digimax 96k, which is connected to the 896HD via the ADAT lightpipe, can not be used if using an external clock at 96khz. I read by one person that you have to use the AES digital out, but you don't get all 8 outputs like you do us...

Gentleman thankyou
Thankyou very much gentleman. I thought that is what I needed to do but wasn't sure if I should spend the money for the extra cable. No one at the store knew if i did or didn't. Talk about product knowledge. One more question with Lucid I can sample up to 192Khz but the Digimax only can sample up to...

Can't wait to mine
Hey Old Timey I can't wait to get mine as well. Did you buy the Expert PAk or express, since they are the only two paks available with the PCI-X cards for the G5's.

Setting up my Lucid GenX 192 to the 896HD and Digimax96K
I just bought a Lucid GenX 192 and hooked it up to my 896HD. I also have the Presonus Digimax 96k hooked up to the 896 HD via lightpipe. Do i need to hook my Digimax with lucid for clock sync or does the lightpipe automatically sync it via the lightpipe to my 896 HD?
