Re: Syncing old audio tracks
Yes, I suspect you both are right. I was hoping there was some Rube Goldberg patch the TC wav to the MTP then play it wild (w/Quicktime) so DP would receive sync and...well you get the idea. And I may still try that! The audio house in AU said they hit play and recorded the output of each track simu...

Syncing old audio tracks
I used to have an AKAI MK1212 multitrack that I would sync DP to; there were 12 tracks on the tape, I would stripe TC on trk12 and sync DP w/MTP, worked great. So I had analog tracks on the AKAI and MIDI tracks in DP. Now years later, I no longer have the tape deck, but I sent the tapes to an audio ...

Re: Big Sur: Compatibility Guide
I know I'm late to the party, but NO MIDI...? Will this eventually involve buying a new interface to replace my MTP? Sounds like it. Whatever, let's get to it!

Undo History window columns
Is there a way to widen the NAME column in the Undo History window? The TIME column is cutting off the right side so I get "Mute Selection in Sequence 'XXX versio" (then the version # is cut off). The usual trick of clicking on column edges to widen does not work.

Re: MSI & Mach5-2 working in 32bit until El Capitan!
Thanks, Mike. I do have MachFive3 already; I use it with the 64bit MSI library in newer projects. But I have over a dozen older songs that used the native MSI & MachFive2 plug-ins that opened and played with those old versions as late as last week. I will investigate your other suggestions, I ap...

MSI & Mach5-2 working in 32bit until El Capitan!
Hi all, long time no post. DP 9.5 was working fine in 64 and 32 bit modes; I was able to use 32 bit mode to open older DP projects that used MSI and Mach5-2 and they showed up with no problem. My older tracks with IK's Guitar Rig 3 even showed up. But I just upgraded to El Capitan (because EZ Drumme...

Re: YAMAHA 01V96I
Sometimes you have to walk away from a problem to get a fresh perspective. This mixer is soooo complicated I think I was overwhelmed at first. But after a couple years (!) the answer jumped out at me.

Re: YAMAHA 01V96I
I figured it out: You use SysEx to call up effect presets.
In the DP Event list, insert a SysEx, then open it. Then trigger the effect from the 01V96i and it records the correct string as an event.
Whew!

I just upgraded to DP8 and can't seem to get MSI to be recognized with the other AU's.

YAMAHA 01V96I
My beloved Yamaha ProMix01 finally bit the dust so I got today's iteration; the 01V96i. It was/is a MIDI controlled mixer with flying faders and two built-in FX processors. All is as was before, but I had to reprogram all of the MIDI controllers because Yamaha changed the default set. All done now, ...

Can you elaborate on how M3 handles M2 instances?
Should I keep M2 installed for older projects or just use M3 and load M2 samples?

Migrate Clippings to a new computer
Swapped computers, reinstalled DP, plug-ins, etc. I want to move my old DP Clippings to the new machine.
I know I have individual CLIPPINGS folders for individual projects, but where are the DP Clippings stored; the ones I've collected that show up with every project?
Thanks all.
