Last year I converted to Logic Studio, and I'm very happy with it. After almost eight years of using DP, I was still pulling for DP and I went ahead and bought the update. But I after looking at interface for about five minutes, I couldn't bare it anymore. It simply hurts my eyes, and I have a cali...

I think I'm done with DP as well. I got the Mach5.2 a few weeks ago, am only able to load up maybe 4 or 5 samples before my systems starts blinkin red. Logic is super fast by comparison, plus it's new to me. That makes it fun to learn. Pretty too. Bye bye DP I still have three MOTU 828mk2s and 6 MOT...

Well, I have been using DP since 1998, before that it was Studio Vision and Cubase on the Atari ST, and before that it was a Studer 820 and an Amek. I've been an audio engineer since 1984, anyway I make my living now as a 3d animator. I am a huge DP fan, I have Logic 7, but I'd rather use DP. The li...

I have just about completely given up on DP. After about 6 years as a big fan and every day user, I got bored the day I tried out Ableton Live. I still do my final mixes in DP, but that may change with the next Live release. The days of the linear software tape deck are over.

Fixed and installed,
Thanks to the MOTU Tech support, who were really on top of things. It was a bad directory on my install drive and it took Disc Warrior to find and fix it.

I also noticed this when I tried to update MSI... unsuccessfully. It's the installer software that is failing, imho.

The hang up "forever searching" is upon installation. No files are ever copied to my hard drive and No ethno folder is ever created. No place to put the alias.

Well, it's here. I'm tring to install it. Um... Pressed Intall....it's been searching my hard drive for an hour. I think it's looking at the wrong hard drive. I have a feeling that this things not going to install. I know where the .dat files are, because I just manually copied them to my 'sounds' h...
