A lot of what you want is in the manual. You DO have a manual don't you ? It's a mighty tome, but I re-read it every3-4 months and notice things I missed last time. And any search on google will get you many good links to the use of processors. /edit: ok that was a little terse , i apologise. The bo...

How far zoomed in are you ? I think if you zoom to far in it won't work, something to do with the scrub speed would be too slow to play. I assume you are trying this in the Sequence Editor and/or the waveform editor ? Just a thought - all audition functions - like scrub and when you select an area o...

There was a thread about 1 month ago about the two files instead of one. I found that the import dialog has some functionality I hadn't really noticed. When it comes up for you to choose a file to import it has two boxes down the bottom. Once you choose a file from the normal file-picker, it transfe...

I don't know if what you describe is a bug or not, but the type of stereo file that you are analysing makes a difference. In the manual (p624 in the DP5 manual) it'll tell you that beat analysis ( which it has to do before it can fathom the tempo) is not very successful on mixed audio files. So if y...

Wasn't there a thread about something like this recently? Certainly in the last month. In the transfer of older files some of the pointers, or whatever they were called, were stripped off leaving the file looking like a unix executable. I recall there was a work round which restored the required thi...

Totally agree. The drum editor, in my opinion, is perhaps the weakest part of DP for me. It should have the full range of resolution and you should be able to EASILY play with drum maps.andrewj wrote:but a tool to get triplets in your grid in the drumeditor is a must to me! this was forgotten in my opinion!

Just a question about the conversion to 32 bits . Does DP simply add 8 bits to my 24 bit file at the MSB end - thereby leaving the room you mention for louder material. Or does it re-evaluate the amplitude of the sample based on a 32 bit bit depth. For example: Incoming 24 bit sample value : 8388608...

Re: Triplets and the Drumeditor
Hi, I have a big problem with Performer. I wanted to create a track based on 4/3s or 4/6s. we all know this is not possible with performer Wouldn't 12/8 do the same thing as 4/3, and 12/16 as 4/6. those can be set. Not being a in depth scholar of music, doesn't that achieve the same aim? I agree ab...
