DP hang on quick Chunk change?
Like title says. Can somebody else confirm that on their system that, IF you change chunk very quickly (preferably using key commands), at one point DP will hang with the beach ball of death. By "Very Quickly" I mean faster than the chunks update on the window when you change them. Thanks ...

Re: Mackie MCU Pro duplicating Master Fader Track
If I'm not mistaken, it's always been like that? To accommodate the fact that you ca have than one master fader in one chunk.

Sharing Plugins Between two Versions of OSX on same computer
Hi. I'm migrating to El Capitan on a separate Partition and Would like to know if there's a way to send all my plugins without having to reinstall them all.
I don't think merely copying the Component folder to the new Partition will cut it.
Any ideas?

Re: AcousticSamples B5 Organ
I have amplitube's leslie, but the accel/decel is just SOOOO DAMNNN SLOOOOWWW. I'm the kind of player who loves to spin up and down the speaker constantly, I think of it as an integral part of B3 performance. Amplitube's sim is definitely made for those who "set it and forget it" for a wh...

Re: AcousticSamples B5 Organ
I suggest you disable B5's Rotary emulation, run it "direct" and feed it into Melda Production's Vintage Rotary plug-in or PSP's rotary speaker plugin. You'll have to put DP in Multi-Record so you can enable MIDI tracks for both B5 and the rotary speaker plug, which is kind of a drag, but...

Re: Squinting to See Chunk/Sequence Names
Only problem with that is: When you're live on stage, zooming in and out while playing is not always an option...leigh wrote:I enabled Zoom in System Preferences > Accessibility > Zoom so I can zoom in by holding down the Ctrl key.

Re: Squinting to See Chunk/Sequence Names
I'm afraid there's none.
What I do is I always write the Chunk's name as a first Marker for every chunk. And I show the Marker name in my transport window,
Works fine for me.

DP 9.12 Pitch Correction Cause Pop & Click. FIXED?
Can somebody else confirm that this very old Bug is fixed in 9.12? http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=35318&hilit=Scale+Expression+99%25+99 I've bumped A LOT into this since the last 2-3 versions but it seems like everything I've merged since DP9.12 seems to be clean so I'm ...

Re: Spectrasonics Keyscape Announced
My point is:
Omnisphere already covers most of the Synths need I have, if it's remotely as good as Omnisphere at what it does, then there's no point in using anything else...

Re: DP The Ultimate Live Playback System
Hey guys! 3) Redundant playback. I haven't found a rock solid solution to locking these together that I'm super comfortable with. And trust me I've tried everything and spend all my off time trying to perfect it. I'm using 4 828's and 2 radial switchers and laptop A & B. (15" MacBook Pro R...

Re: DP The Ultimate Live Playback System
Yeah Shooshie, I think that these features could REALLY put DP on top in the "Live Playback" race. The chunks and V-Racks are already a HUGE advantage. But without being able to be flexible in the timeline, it's harder to get a gig with DP now.

Re: DP The Ultimate Live Playback System
I mean being able to cue the playhead to different places in the timeline and having DP jump to it at the end of the bar so that it always stays on time. Like Ableton Live.
Timeline flexibility has become a must in live music nowadays. Most artist don't want to be slave of a rigid timeline anymore.

DP The Ultimate Live Playback System
Been using DP Live for years and love it. But BOY would I love to be able to move the playhead around and keep it on the click "À la Ableton Live". To me, THAT would make DP the champion of the world... What do you guys think? What missing feature would make DP the Usain Bolt of DAWs for l...
