By Mackie Tech Support the most stable system with DXB & DP has been OS 10.3.x & DP4.5 / 4.61 but then You don‘t have Aggregate Devices which are working great here. Also I understood that DP5 is not the best way with DXB.

Propably irrelevant but..
Did You select a correct output to the audio track You are recording to? DP doesn‘t allow to record on a track if the output is incorrectly assigned.

You can easily double Your track count

Another thing I really like about DP is that there are less limits than on some platforms.

Both of them work fine. If I had to choose only one of them, I‘d go for the PoCo. Isn‘t the X3 code exactly the same as in Finalyzer?
