Re: channel assignments reassiging themselves when project is opened

I've never used Bundles, will have to research that.
I have tried loading all the soundbites into a new project, and the random channel reassignment thing may or may not reoccur. Doesn't seen to be any rhyme or reason for it...

channel assignments reassiging themselves when project is opened

I have two separate but somewhat related odd behaviors occurring... First one) I set up a 32 track recording session. I will have say, 24 simultaneous tracks assigned to specific inputs of my interfaces- ADAT channels 8 through 32 for example- I track the rhythm section, save and close the project. ...

Where can I download the most recent DP11 updates?

When I opened DP today it prompted me to download the latest version (11.34 I think). For some reason the download and/or installation was unsuccessful. Now I can't find anywhere to download it from the MOTU website. In the past I could go to Downloads and see all the versions...

Re: Channel Inputs randomly reassigning themselves

It seems that the problem is now occurring in all new projects. Maybe I accidentally got some setting changed or selected, who knows. I've exhausted all my ideas about where to look...

Channel Inputs randomly reassigning themselves

This has me stumped. :banghead: When I reopen a previously saved project, Almost half of the input channels have re-assigned themselves to new channels! My signal chain is two Apogee AD-16X's feeding inputs #1 through #32 into two of my 2408 MK3's via Adat lightpipe. Nothing has changed in my rig- e...

Re: New Mac Pro and PCIe card compatability

More complicated- that's something to look forward to... I'm still in the process of updating/reauthorizing all my plug-ins- fun fun fun. Once I get that done I'll be able to run this machine through the paces. Hopefully the gains will justify the investment of effort and expense... Thanks for...

Re: New Mac Pro and PCIe card compatability

I had installed the 73220 software 5 or 6 times. But With help from MOTU tech support, I found the problem! He sent me to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and on the top menu (General) there was a notification on the bottom half of the page that said the software was being blocked. Checke...

With help from MOTU tech support, I found it! Went to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and on the top menu (General) there was a notification on the bottom half of the page that said the software was being blocked. Checked it and Viola! it loaded and is working now! It's hard to get good ...

Re: Does anyone know where I can obtain PCIe 424 drivers?

That's the 2408 MK3 MOTU Audio Installer that I used and reinstalled several times- Version: 73220, Release Date: July 1, 2017. I did a fresh install of Mac Mojave OS 10.14.6 on a new SSD. In the system report the mid 2012 machine recognizes the PCIe 424 card but on the Driver Installed line it says...

Does anyone know where I can obtain PCIe 424 drivers?

The PCIe 424 driver download is nowhere to be found on MOTU's web site. I'm "upgrading" from my early 2008 8 core 2,8Ghz Mac Pro running ElCapitan to a 2012 12-Core 3.46 Ghz Mac Pro running Mojave. My intent is to utilize my three 2408 MK3's, one 24I/O, a PCIe 424 card and MIDI timepiece M...

Re: New Mac Pro and PCIe card compatability

I was able to get 10.14.6 Mojave up and running with the new SSD and dual displays so that part is fine. Turns out you can only have ONE display connected when loading and updating the Mojave software. My next hurdle, the Mac doesn't see the PCIe card. In System Information it shows up on the list a...

Re: New Mac Pro and PCIe card compatability

Along with the 2012 Mac I just bought, the seller included a flash drive with Mac OS High Sierra and Mojave on it. Since I have no information on the age or service hours that are on the 6G 1-TB SSD that came in the used Mac, I thought it would be a good idea to install a new OWC Mercury Ele...

Re: New Mac Pro and PCIe card compatability

Thank you both. I'll have to wait to see which version of Mojave is loaded on it and go from there.

Re: New Mac Pro and PCIe card compatability

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully I can source an earlier version of Mac OS (High Sierra?) without too much difficulty if Mojave is an issue, and the GTX 680 video card will be supported. No turning back now...
