Drum tracks leakage
I was wondering if anyone care to share tips on minimizing drum tracks leakage, like hi hat leaking into snare mic,etc. Specially the stuff that you do before it gets to the DAW, as in room acoustics, drum setup, mic technique, preamp choice,etc.

I had a similar problem running two 896s with DP. Hilighting both interfaces on the hardware setup window of DP solved my problem. Maybe SX works in a similar way.

Cue mix gives you a latency of 1 to 2 ms.
On a pc you could use both units together but not on a Mac. Mackie says they are working on this.

To me the biggest differences are: 1) ONYX 1640 has 16 mic preamps vs 896HD has 8 2) Input Monitoring Latency. On the ONYX you can monitor every input without latency. On the 896HD 1 mono or a stereo pair. ONYX does not support multiple firewire devices on OSX. I know it looks like the ONYX would be...
