Re: DP 9.1 is here

DLing now.... But I'll be the first to mention, HARDWARE INSERTS

I've waited a long time for this, and after reading through this thread, it would seem DP9.1 is ready for the studio :woohoo:

Re: Adjust Beats - need a detailed explanation

Maybe it's just me, But I find the whole best detection and quantization in DP extraordinarily complex and non intuitive. When I got 9, I watched a lot of tutorials re the new features and tried it out from those tutorials and I could not get it work.. It is an area that motu could improve on IMHO. ...

Interesting that you are the only other person I've heard that has it.

DO you use a FW or USB interface by any chance?

Re: Take number snafu

Got a response from MOTU which basically said this sounded like a unique case and recommended deleting preferences and a reinstall of DP. I'll be doing that some time today. If they've never heard of this before and no one here has confirmed this, I'm fairly confident that the problem is at my end....

Re: This definitely needs to be fixed. Major DP shortcoming.

I feel your pain on this FMiguelez...

It's caught me out before, fortunately for me, I didn't really need anything in the extra takes, But I was surprised that they didn't move..

I agree that it's a major oversight that should be fixed sooner rather than later.

Re: NextGen PreGen Three Days to Go!

Exclamations that are 100% reliable and are never wrong: The DP update will be out in three more days! Oh, it's an absolute fact; no delays possible! There's no place like home! Sure, it was good for me, too! It's not you, it's me! Why yes, of COURSE you look wonderful in that dress! Yes, even in t...

Re: NextGen PreGen Three Days to Go!

NextGen PreGen, lower latency in buffers etc. by the end of the 2nd quarter according to their predictions! :woohoo: OK OK realistically any software development deadline is a hypothetical deadline, a "this is what we're shooting for" thing, over a concrete fact. My guess is no way they c...

Re: DP9 refusing to quit

MIDI Life Crisis: Sorry that I have to plead ignorance as I'm totally clueless as to what a plist is (nor could I find it), or a VI, by "plug", I'm assuming you mean "plug in". And if it was the case of a plug-in, I'd have NO idea how to troubleshoot that. Awhile back I barked u...

Sometimes I just wait a couple of mins and it's all good..

Re: Deleting session templates

here is how to do it, Apparently apple have been hiding it for the last 3 versions.

The Library folder is hidden. If you need to open it for some reason, click the desktop to make sure you're in the Finder, hold down the Option key, then choose Go > Library.
