Thanks, Mike....I did solve it! I had all my Waves licenses on a an older computer, and the project I was loading on the current Mac had Waves plugins on some of the tracks. Once I was able to transfer the licenses back to my current Mac, all went well!

On soundbite input I use it for arranging tracks, routing tracks (input and output), applying colors, adding markers, fitting mostly all tracks in one window (where they make sense and are truly visible), etc. I would be happy to be rid of clips & song windows, and Polar in its entire...

I did have one last question. So articulations can work on VI master patches (with several patches in each master, controlled by MIDI notes). Can they somehow work on individual patches that have only one articulation (like, say, legato violin)?

Wow, thanks for the information! Sounds like i have some work to do! I appreciate your responses, and will certainly be studying this some more.

I don't have DP11, but was interested in the articulation maps idea. I read about it in the DP11 manual, and it wasn't very clear how it works. It seems that, if you have, say, a legato patch being driven MIDI, that the articulation applied can turn it into staccato? Maybe a clunky version of stacca...

Figured it out. Somehow I put Sonarworks into mono mode....which I didn't even know was there.

I have two mono guitars, on mono tracks, and am unable to pan them left or right. Still using DP 10.3, but have recently switched to OS 11 on an Intel iMac. I'm sure there is a workaround, but can anyone assist in getting to the root of the problem?
