I wouldn't put the ceiling all the way down to -2.0db, -0.20db is more like it. Also, you'll avoid distortion by limiting less.

surely a bug, and it makes sense because this is an area they changed slightly with the 6.02 update, must have missed something. I just have to remember to change my project default to BWAV when I start a new project.

I'm having the exact same problem. Once I change the Project format it sticks after a save---but all new projects just open up with AIFF, no matter what the overall default is set to. Definately a bug.... I can re-create it with 10 new templates I made.

has always been like this. There are 128 values in MIDI

so 63 + 64 = 127 and then add the 0 in the middle and you have 128 different values.

I wish they would display it as different numbers though, can be confusing
