Re: A longstanding problem with MIDI latency
That's what I figured. Well, I have had the time to try that but will give his suggestion a go and report back with my results. Thanks for all the input.

Re: A longstanding problem with MIDI latency
By the way baywater, It is a delay between MIDI input using VIs and MIDI data in the timeline and since I am using VIs I suppose it could be an audio timing issue. I haven't tried it but will play with the fine tune audio timing. The odd thing is, I haven't noticed any problem with acoustic sources ...

Re: A longstanding problem with MIDI latency
Hey thanks for that. I am running latest drivers and I really have a hard time believing its te MTP. Don't have an extra MIDI interface but will consider purchasing one of all else fails. I think I have Onyx utility. Haven't run it in a long time. I have never understood the multipliers. Have tried ...

A longstanding problem with MIDI latency
I have looked around here and even tho I know this subject has been addressed from various anglesI'm not sure my particular issue has been dealt with. The thing is when I set my buffers low enough, ie 128 is usually good enough, I have no trouble playing in my parts accurately, that is they feel goo...

At 44.1 my UADe card seems fine. At 96k the meter doesn't seem to reflect what is actually available on the card. I'd say 65% is as high as the UA meter can go on 96khz sessions without rejecting further instantiations. Was that with DP. Logic, or both? And do you think you're still able to squeeze...

DP performance issues with new 8 Core Mac and UADe
I am thinking of getting one of those new macs and upgrading my UAD to two UADe cards. The only thing in the way now is that I've been hearing rumors that there have been some errors and cpu spikes with Logic users and this system. ALso I have heard that a couple of other host applications have had ...

RA and ethno
I just bought RA on the group buy and it is fantastic! I don't think of these two instruments as the same at all. On the one hand, RA is 14gb of the finest virtual world instruments around. There are no loops at all, really, although there are a few "elements" or indigenous instrument effe...
