Is MSI A Good Product For The Price?
I am running MSI on my PC successfully, but I am not sure if I would say it is a good product for the price. I know it doesn't have all of the instrumental options and articulation/s like higher end virtual instruments, but I would still expect stability and quality samples where you don't hear loop...

MSI
You sure are right about the volume/velocity sensitivity on certain notes.

MSI Software
Yes. There are too many flaws in this sample software. The samples have the potential to sound well, but there are too many inconsistencies within the sample library. Also, not to mention compatability with PC hardware. That is if there truly is any compatability. I would never recommend using MSI l...

DXi or VST
I agree. The VST plug-in works the best for me too.

I should have mentioned in my previous post that I am running my anti-virus software at the same time too.

MSI Note Sticks
I haven't had any problem with notes sticking while working within Sonar 3. I am using MSI as A VSTi plug-in. I have never had any luck with DXi. NOTE: All sounds are on a seperate hard drive than the MSI program. Also, I use GPO as a VSTi plug-in within Sonar and I have no problems with that progra...

Received MSI Software
I contacted the music store I purchased MSI and they were positve I wouldn't have any problem running MSI on a PC using Sonar. I have done a lot of bussiness with them over the years so I decided to install the software. It took me approx. 40 minutes and I had it up and running without a problem. Al...

MSI - SONAR/WINDOWS XP PRO.
I have heard a lot of problems regarding Sonar and PC based workstations using MSI as a plug-in. Some people think it is the ilok, others think Motu didn't spend enough time checking for MSI bugs working within PC operating systems. My question is, has anyone installed the MSI software without any p...

vsti
I use Sonar and VSTi as my plug-in using GPO. I was told VSTi would run more stable with GPO. To my surprise, I have found it runs more efficiently. I assume that is why you are having better luck with VSTi as your plug-in using MSI. NOTE: I just ordered MSI and this forum has made me nervous over m...
