Re: Latest Audio Drivers Won't Install on Win7 64 - Help!

For that problem you have to change the system clock when you boot, and it will see the MOTU. In your case, it may be a firewire driver problem, so go into the device and select Wind...

Re: Windows7 and MOTU drivers
I can't believe that so many people have read the post and yet no one is coming up with any solutions. I have been changing my system date virtually every four days in order to reboot. I'd have to say that once I got things to work over the years, the MOTU equipment has been the most solid in operation, but let me add that for years I have always had problems loading the stupid drivers once I moved to 64 bit OS. I don't know about it taking two weeks to set up my system, but certa...

Windows7 and MOTU drivers
I've read both threads about this problem, and I'm still sitting here with an inoperable system if I try to boot on today's date, regardless of the day. So I went back and did some research. Lots of research. Lots and lots of research. Unfortunately I can only come up with the same work-around that ...

Re: Is firewire that much better than USB?
I'd have to agree with Brad on this one. I've known Brad from Rec.Audio.Pro years ago and he really does know his stuff. But I've spent a couple of decades in computer technology and firewire is by far the lesser chatty interconnect. USB uses a stay alive query to maintain what is on the tree struct...
