Re: Error Message. Yippee!
Just opening the program from the dock. The program itself won't open, so I don't actually get the opportunity to open a specific file.

Error Message. Yippee!
I just installed DP. When I open it I get:
Mac OS error. Access denied. Insufficient access privileges for the operation (-5000).
I'm repairing disk permissions as we speak. Any other thoughts?
Thanks...

VI's in Templates
This is going to be hard to explain, but I'll try. Any help would be great. Basically, if I make a template that includes third party VI's (mainly Kontakt), when I create a file based on that template the outputs to the MIDI tracks are in italics and I have to reassign them with Studio Menu > Remap ...

Re: DP 6.01 bugs and gripes
I see your point about lists. That change is very welcome in the Soundbites Window and others. But that's not what I'm talking about... Try this and tell me what it does for you. - Make a file with two audio tracks. - Go to the Sequence Editor. - Select a time range on Track 1. - Shift-click on Trac...

Re: DP 6.01 bugs and gripes
Getting strange behavior shift-clicking in DP6.01. Just curious if this is the case for everyone. What I'm doing... My file has two audio tracks. Let's just call them Audio Track 1 and Audio Track 2. I'm in the Sequence Editor. I select a couple of measures of Audio Track A...say...measures 1-5. The...

Re: 828 and OSX Crashes
Things I've already tried...
I reset the 828 to factory settings.
I reinstalled the driver.
Swapped Firewire cables.
Rebuilt P-Ram.
Repaired permissions.
Unplugged all other hardware.
Status remains the same. Turn on 828 = OS crash.

DP file that won't open
I have a DP file that won't open. What happens... I double-click on it. DP launches. I get a message that says: An error occurred while reading from the disk. The file was not loaded. MacOS error: Unexpected error (103) I've tried opening it directly and also loading it into another file that opens ...

Strange Install Message
I just installed DP5.13 on 10.5.5. When I try to open the program, it does the audio unit examination. A box comes up telling me to choose a basic path. I've never gotten that message before. I'm not sure if that's asking me where the audio units are? I try to choose a folder, but eventually just sk...

MIDI Driver in 10.5+
I just upgraded OS X 10.4 to 10.5. I am trying to get my MIDI driver updated so that I can use my MOTU hardware with Digital Performer. When I launch Audio MIDI Setup, I get an error message: "Unable to launch MIDI Server. Improperly written MIDI drivers can prevent the MIDI Server from launchi...

LAME
I've installed LAME on several online computers and it's easy enough. I'm trying it a computer that's not online and it's just not working. Does anyone know if LAME requires some sort of online verification? Obviously, you don't have to type anything in, but I thought there something might be going ...
