Did you by chance use UAD plugs when you mixed this record because it sounds phenomenal.

Mcevilley, How's LA these days? I used to be your neighbor. I lived right behind the Peterson automotive museum on Wilshire for a long time. Ever hang out at Molly's on Fairfax? BTW, your stuff is sick man. Is what you have listed as your gear your whole set-up?: G5 dual 2.7 w/8gigs of RAM/ 10.4.3/ ...

Wow. Some great work here. I've managed to listen to everyone's stuff so far. Coming from a non-pro app (Cakewalk Project 5) I'm really quite blown away at how amazingly professional these songs sound. But then I suppose that stands to reason since all of these songs have apparently been mixed/maste...

Hi everybody,
Hey I'm still a little new here, and I'm wondering where in this forum members post their songs? I haven't purchased DP yet and I would love to hear some stuff done with it.
Thank you,
Erik

Thanks Chris, Man, $900 for a DA converter! They must almost work magic for that kind of money. Hard to imagine the difference at this point. Cool website BTW. I used to live in Hollywood now I'm up in Portland. My sis works for Nike up here in advertising. She's always got stuff working. I'll throw...

Do I need a converter if I just use softsynths?
Hi everyone, I'm a new DP user and I've got a question. Most (nearly 99%) of the music I compose in is done using softsynths. It's my understanding that what I need is a premium D/A converter more so than A/D, is that correct? I have been using a AP2496. Is there something out there that would do a ...

As someone who owns and uses Logic, Live, Reason, DP, T2 and even Cubase on the Mac side of the house, I've got to tell you that Logic seems like a pretty good fit for the situation you have described Wow Mark, coming from someone such as yourself who has used Reason and Live AS WELL as Logic and D...

Here's another question to ask...when will DP actually be ready for intels ? Based on the posts/comments from the folks on macmusic.org (not that they are an authority) it appears that DP5 will be released in late summer/early fall. My personal feeling is the Summer NAMM. I would suspect that if th...

Making the move from Sonar to DP
 I got into Sonar 5 about a year ago and since then haven't used any other program. I recently decided to get a Mac. I would take Sonar with me if I could (maybe v5.2) for familiarity reasons more than anything. So because of the switch to Mac I've naturally been looking at other programs i.e....
