Do this: When you want to install samples into machfive - Be absolutely sure that they are in a folder that has no ODD characters in the name. For instance, drag the samples you want to import into a folder called "M5 Samples"...on your desktop, or on the same drive as you M5 sound folder....

I don't think there's a real easy way. I've never made multiple presets with single samples, but you might be able to set up the presets in the machfive sounds' soundbank folder to expidite getting the samples in to the presets.
