Thanks for the reply I use to play my projects from from my second int hard disc. Hi
If you have the money to spent buy euphonix.
Otherwise a second hand Mackie control Universal its the best choice for DAW controller.
Its always compatible with everything (logic, DP, Cubase etc)

Hi folks
I,m just wondering which is best.
I would like to buy ext hard disc for my projects.
I know that firewire acts much better for playback and recording.
What is better to use , any opinions here ?
I saw Iomega models with firewire looks very ok.
Has someone experience with Iomega ?

The playback its often the main problem, but as you noticed pre rendering its a good think and external dedicated project hard disk helps to.. I have a mate who use DP 5 in his studio for dialogues and video works. He is happy with DP. My main job is recording and i need 24 -48 tracks. Anybody else ...

Hi thanks for reply I see, i want to use the DP.6 something like tape recording with few plug ins from DP without nothing else. I mean no other software, or internet or softsynth Can i achieve 24-48 tracks do you think with ? How many tracks its possible to playback ? DP6 its alright for this machin...

I just got a used G5 dual 1.8 with 4,5 giga ram for 300 bucks.
I have Pro Tools in PC also and i would like to use this machine like number to.
How many tracks can achieve with DP 6 and Dual G5 1.8 (4,5 gigs)
