No luck here either, not in a hurry, I'll let the "early adopters" get their fix.

Re: Recording MIDI bass tracks
Hey kgdrum, I checked out OrangeTree Mind Control after I read your earlier post, be curious to hear how you're making out with it after you've had some time to play with it.

Re: Recording MIDI bass tracks
I'm a guitarist primarily and have a nice Fender Jazz bass which records nicely. I have used a number of bass VI's over the years as well. One that continually knocks my socks off is the "Blue Bass" by Scarbee and now by NI. It's a great sounding unit, gives you that late sixties early sev...

New from Motu
This looks interesting, the start of many good things to come perhaps.

Re: Taking a second run at Lion
Everything is running flawlessly here as well. I'm totally opposite you Phil O in that I'm using Lion on my main machine since it's brand new and keeping SL on my MacBook Pro. Only had a couple of tiny glitches, one of which was some crackling through my legacy 828. I kept checking my Audio/MIDI set...

Re: Moving to Lion
Everything's been running well for a couple of days now, a small glitch with a waves plug that wouldn't allow me to drag it around the screen, don't know why, all the others did. You'll see in my sig what software I'm using so folks can know these all work in Lion. Last night I backed everything up ...

Re: Moving to Lion
Ahhh… this thread is a breath of fresh air. I've been dreading the switch to Lion, but it sounds like it can be as painless as any other OS upgrade. Still, I have to wait until I can afford to upgrade Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I'm still using PPC versions of most of that...

Re: Moving to Lion
OK, so everything working well so far. Installed Altiverb, Izotope Ozone and Alloy, Drumagog, Melodyne and PSP plugs. Also Komplete 8. No glitches or hiccups at this point. Haven't pushed anything too hard at this point, just loaded a mix of the last project I completed and loaded a bunch of extra p...

Re: Moving to Lion
Night and day difference from a G5... I think that's where your thinking Lions faster because it's all over the net, Lion is actually slower... Actually MacGuy, night and day from my MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz which was spicier than my G5. Perhaps you missed my second post where I said I...

Moving to Lion
I decided to start a new thread. I'd earlier posted wondering if I should stay on SL or move to Lion. Well I decided to bite the bullet and go with Leo. So far everything is working quite nicely. DP 7.24 sure boots fast and on my new iMac (i7, 3.4 GHz, 16 Gigs Ram). The fresh install has been time c...

Re: Lion or Snow Leopard
That's really encouraging to hear Gravity Jim. I'm likely going to take the plunge over the next few days or so but first I've got to tidy up SL and make a clone just in case.
